U.S. Rep. Carolyn Maloney Praises Teens in Politics

In a November 18th New York Daily News article about Teens in Politics, U.S. Representative Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY) praised the efforts of Teens in Politics and founder James Kuntz.

“I applaud James Kuntz for his innovation and initiative to develop Teens in Politics and for encouraging his peers to be more involved politically,” Maloney told The News. “He’s been a great member of my Congressional Youth Cabinet and I’m not at all surprised by his success.”

Maloney is the longtime Representative for New York's 12th Congressional District, which includes the east side of Manhattan, Western Queens, the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn, and Roosevelt Island. Her office's program, the Congressional Youth Cabinet, provides motivated young students with the opportunity to discuss political issues that affect young people.

We are honored and excited to have the support of Representative Maloney. Teens in Politics looks forward to working with the Representative on increasing youth political involvement!
